Jaipur people are mad about Makar Sankranti. We have witnessed crazy activities of Jaipur citizens on the eve of Makar Sankranti. We have also become crazy and participated in the kite flying festival on Makar Sankranti. Roof tops were full and roads and markets were empty yesterday.

I have reported in the earlier blog post about Makar Sankranti: Early morning. Enthusiasm rose with the sun. We have seen more and more kites in the sky as the sun went up. It was at its peak in the evening. Humdreds and thousands of people were standing on the roof tops and flying or watching kites.

Jaipur people started with crackers since evening. Crackers were seen all over the Jaipur. However, Johari Bazar was exclusive as usual. The sky looked bright and colorful with crackers.

I have taken a video of the said crackers and posting this in the video section of this web site.

Please view and enjoy.
